Katie Pohlman, DC
Dr. Katie Pohlman is a Clinical Project Manager at the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research. She received her BS degree from The Ohio State University in 2001, and her DC degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2006. Upon graduating from chiropractic college, she opened a practice dedicated to pregnant women and pediatrics. In her practice, she wanted to educate women about chiropractic care in pediatrics. She soon found that more research was needed in this area and as a result, enrolled at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in the Masters of Clinical Research program. She became dedicated to research in pregnancy and pediatric care. While enrolled in the program full-time, she was hired as a Clinical Project Manager at the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research, where she presently oversees government-funded clinical trials. Being a Clinical Project Manager allows Dr. Pohlman to continue to enrich and improve her research skills. She is now enrolled part-time in the Masters program, with an anticipated graduation date of October 2009. She is also currently obtaining her Diplomate in Pediatrics and will be a candidate for the board examination in the fall of 2008.
On a more personal note, Dr. Pohlman is a very proud mom to a sons, Jacob and Isaiah, and gestational mom to her best friend’s little girl, Tara Marie.
